Over Victron Cyrix-ct battery combiner kit 12/24V-120A
With the Cyrix-ct battery combiner kit you can easily add a 2 nd or even 3 rd battery system to your car, boat, camper or other vehicle. The kit uses the most simple and advanced technology to keep all your batteries charged.
The kit consists of:
- Cyrix-CT 12 / 24-120A bidirectional voltage sensitive relay
- 6 mtr 10mm² battery cable red
- 0.5 mtr
10mm² battery cable black - 0.2mtr 1.5mm² battery cable with M8 press cable eye and 6.3 mm AMP plug
- 2 pieces M8 cable lug with insulation
sleeve - 4 pieces M6 cable lug with insulation sleeve
- 4 pieces cable ties 150mm
The connected batteries or battery banks are automatically connected in parallel when one of the batteries has reached a preset voltage. The batteries or battery banks are disconnected when the voltage drops below the trickle charge level.
Battery voltage monitoring
Some battery separators disconnect a battery in case of short but high amperage. Sometimes a battery separator does not connect a large but uncharged battery bank either because the DC voltage immediately drops below the disconnect value once the batteries are connected. The Cyrix looks at the general trend and only adjusts the most recently executed action if the trend has changed.
